Challenge: Decorate a “cozy” condo to maximize function and light
Tonal variations of blue and green were used in every room of this top floor condominium. The 2-pc sectional is a space saver and functions well with a well scaled coffee table. An art studio painting c.1970 is a dramatic focal point of the Living Room.
The fabrics in 80 sq ft bedroom matched the living room scheme, as if they were in the same room. An existing built-in bookcase was modified with more refined details, and lighting was added.
The client’s own shell collection was created on a delicate vintage wall shelf in the kitchen.
Fun fact: The yellow bookcase was in the homeowner’s boyhood bedroom.
