Challenge: create and decorate a tiny non-descript bedroom for occasional guests
This warm and modern guest bedroom is simple and sophisticated. Walls glazed in multiple tones of saffron have a leathery quality, a la Hermes. Although a unique color for a restful space, the warmth is irresistible, and the symmetry of the furniture and monochromatic finishes has a calming effect.
A toned ceiling, subtly textured fabrics, compliment a Swedish-modern headboard and wood end tables. A full-height linen curtain panel hides the asymmetrical windows. The coat rack is a perfect solution for a short stay.
